Any time the container needs to sit in a public street or right-of-way rather than on private property, it falls under the City of Simpsonville Public Works Department’s Street Cut Permit, a confirmed flat fee of $500. That process applies specifically inside Simpsonville city limits.

No, just inside Simpsonville city limits. It’s a real, published fee for Simpsonville specifically — other incorporated towns and unincorporated county areas run their own separate processes, with their own separate fees.
